I Amsterdam
¡Abrazos! ¡Y todos a comentar! =)
El famoso queso holandés
The famous Dutsch cheese
Well, it
has been a while since I don’t come here (again). And actually, this time is totally true that
I have been really busy. A lot of things have happened during this month
without updating: first, I made a trip to Amsterdam, then my parents came to
visit me to Cologne and then I was helping in an exchange between the Humbold
Gymnasium and the high school Murillo of Seville. In this one, I not only had a
great opportunity to see closely how an exchange between two schools works which
can be really useful for my future as a teacher, but I also met two great
teachers and people, Jesus and Chelo, of whom I have learnt so much in just a
few days. If you read it, a big hug from here!
And this
has been the month to come back to the routine.
My trip to
Amsterdam was really nice, it was three really busy days without stopping, just
walking and walking (I didn’t use the public transport in any moment) but now I
think I can say I (mostly) know the centre of the city. The fact is that, when
I was there, I made the most to visit one of the places I always wanted to
visit, it is, the house in which Anne Frank hided. For those of you who don’t
know her, she was a 12 years old Jewish girl who was hiding with her family for
two years to avoid that the Nazis would send them to one of their extermination
camps. During that period she wrote a diary which her father would publish
later to testify the horrors and the cruelty of the war.
So, once I
have spoke about what I have done this month, next week I’ll write a little
review of the Anne’s diary which I finished reading this morning.
A big hug and I want to see your comments! =)
